Heather Mae is recording two albums, in two different genres, made entirely by a team of women in Nashville. You can help make that happen by purchasing either a physical or digital copy of one or both albums during December!
“Tribute” -- 130 Ct Arkansas Quartz
Mark Oros created this gemstone as a tribute to his friend, colleague and gem designer, Jim Perkins. It is based on his favorite Jim Perkins round brilliant designs. He relayed to us that he entertained great memories of the discussions he and Jim had about gemstones designs while faceting this gemstone. He also added a few embellishments to amuse Jim. Its iciness reminds him of winter and December.
Intaglio Fish in Quartz Crystal
Forged Elements is the shop for Jack Hoque, an award winning lapidary and outstanding practitioner of intaglio. We think this fish is mighty dapper and the bubbles drive us mad bouncing around the termination.
Warm and Coozy Co. hand-makes these wonderful natural soy candles with local essential oils right here on Vancouver Island. Never has a candle made me feel so seen!
Charming Silver Pendant
I can’t help but think of the urban deer population here in Victoria seeing this pendant! This endearing (en-deer-ing) piece is the creation of Vik Neufeld, who is a multi-talented jewellery and lapidary artist from Gibsons BC. What a great gift it would make for the nature lover in your life.

The Prettiest Pink Flower of a Gem
Fletcher Facets is a strictly hobbiest faceter with a lot of talent. This stone is part of a pair of nanosital pink tourmalines that he cut, but I think you’ll agree he did an outstanding job. I love the flower pattern he got out of the facets on this beauty. Nanosital is a synthetic, but a great choice for something like a pendant or brooch. With the color and cut of this stone, it would make an amazing centrepiece for a necklace!
Wedding Ring Set
This stunning wedding set has been hand-crafted of 14kt yellow gold by Neeko Bonzini Goldsmith. The 3-stone ring features welo opal faceted by Hashnu Stones. This center is paired with two white diamonds, and the matched band adds two more accent diamonds providing a delightful balance to the pear shaped stone. The partner band is beautifully textured for a soft glowing finish. No detail of this set has been overlooked. It is a masterpiece.
Color Shift Garnet Pendant
If Nick Montecalvo weren’t such a lovely human, it would be difficult to not resent his many talents. Take, for example, his gem cutting and jewelry making! He cut this phenomenal beauty of color-shifting garnet from the Umba Valley. The stone shifts from a pale peach to classic garnet red depending on the light source. Set in a .925 silver, its ready to wear or give as a gift.
Fumed Beer Glass
Why do you need a fumed beer glass? One reason might be because you believe in buying small this holiday. A better reason would be because you want a glass that seems to change depending on whether its filled with a Pilsner or a Stout. Caveman Glass was rather genius with this silver fume wrapped glass vessel. The colors of fumed glass read differently depending on the background bringing a whole new appreciation to your favorite beverage.
Enormous Rubelite Cabochon
Weight…380 carats. This beautiful open-coloured tourmaline has feathers and visible inclusions. These natural features are to be expected in a stone of this size and color. Not for the casual purchase, this amazing gem will make a once-in-a-life piece of jewelry.
