Details:
Not many people are aware of Danburite, but it is a great stone for jewelry use. It is a 7 on the Mohs scale, and with good toughness, making it similar to Topaz in wearability (although with the cleavage issue you get with Topaz.) While it’s not a rare stone, facet quality specimens are more rare, and this one does have several inclusions which look much more intrusive in the macro photos than in real life. To the naked eye, this stone is both bright and lively with the slightest pink hue.
Bound to catch your eye, no matter how you choose to set it, this gem is being offered at an excellent price because of the inclusions.
