This is classic Nd:YAG 9.8 mm laser rod material. Laser YAG is an excellent gem material, as it's easy to cut and polish, has excellent hardness for jewelry, and is a rather captivating pink. At just under 10mm in diameter, this rod allows for a large round cut.
