This is a parcel of old stock, smaller sapphires from Songea, Tanzania. Smaller stones mean an incredible value to you. These stones are pleochroic and often (although not always) display color-shift. They are alluvial pebbles, so the shapes are often good for retention. These are mostly clean, with an occasional dark crystal (usually just one stone in the parcel), no visible silk or cracks, although the worn surface does make visualization challenging.
