Details:
Do you love blue, but are you having trouble deciding which shade you like the best for your gem? Well, this stone may be the one you’re looking for. This lovely and sizeable natural Spinel from Mozambique can shape shift from denim blue to a slivery grey, and his every color in-between while it’s at it.
Spinel is an awesome gemstone. With a hardness of 8 on the Mohs scale, it is hard and durable enough for everyday wear. This gem would be killer in a ring with a couple of trillion diamonds as side stones.
Testifying to its all natural, no-treatment status are two crystals that have remained in the stone, along with very fine growth tubes leading from each. These are both located off to side, and are often not visible except as an additional bit of sparkle. Like many of you, we appreciate these features as evidence of the natural quality and growth of the stone. The photos have attempted to accurately capture these features for you so that you aren’t surprised.
