This is a parcel of old stock, smaller sapphires from Songea, Tanzania. Smaller stones means an incredible value for you. Depending on the sizes these parcels are selling at $10-13/ct. These stones are pleochroic and often (although not always) display color-shift. Although they are small, they’re alluvial pebbles, so the shapes are often good for retention. These are mostly clean, with an occasional dark crystal (usually just one stone in the parcel), no visible silk or cracks, although the worn surface does make visualization challenging.
